The Coach House

Step from your house into ours! You’ll feel right at home the moment you pass from Uncle Fatty’s Rum Resort through hand crafted stone and cedar gables into the warm and airy interior of The Coach House at Uncle Fatty’s. A beautiful vaulted ceiling (complete with end-to-end skylight); walls and partitions fashioned from cedar wood, imported stone and rod iron; live foliage and traditional style knick-knacks frame the space, giving it a “home away from home” feel. A delicate balance of electric and candle light in nature-inspired and cast iron fixtures enhances the comforting atmosphere. Of course, while relaxation in a soothing setting is always important, Uncle Fatty couldn’t, in good conscience, add his name to The Coach House without ensuring some good old fashioned fun and refreshment.

If large parties are your cup o’ tea, The Coach House offers three options for private party booking:

Our Fireplace Room (for groups up to 45) is aptly named for the stone-enclosed hearth situated at the east end of its hard wood floor. Plentiful and adjustable seating allows you to customize your party space. 52-inch plasma TV’s, mounted at each end of the area, are perfect for watching your favorite sport, or playing your favorite game on an Xbox or Wii system provided for your guests’ enjoyment. While warming up in the Fireplace Room, you may want to sample our S’mores martini made with Ketel One vodka, Godiva dark chocolate liqueur and crème de cacao, served in a glass rimmed with marshmallow sauce and graham cracker crumbs, topped with a freshly roasted marshmallow (sorry, you’ll have to let the bartender roast it for you!)

The Living Room Loft (for groups up to 30) is an elevated space overlooking the entire Coach House. Soft carpeted flooring, potted plants, a large family style game table and plasma TV’s lend a homey feel to the area. Grab one of our many board games or fire up the Xbox/Wii for a little “house party” fun! What could be a more fitting Living Room libation than a PB & J martini made with Absolut vodka, Chambord, Frangelico and strawberry puree, served in a chilled glass drizzled with peanut butter sauce? YUM!

If you’re a “go big or go home” style partier, The Coach House may be booked in its entirety for groups of 250 people (select dates only).

If you happen to be out with a smaller group, or you just want to check things out on your own, don’t worry! The Coach House offers plenty of seating at tables throughout the main area and at our 30 foot bar. You may want to enjoy a boutique wine from our carefully selected list, a single malt scotch from a collection designed to represent every region of Scotland, a bottled beer from an assortment of 50+ imports and domestics, or one of our 13 gourmet martinis, e.g. the Bloody Mary-Tini. This Coach House signature cocktail, made with teriyaki beef infused vodka, beef stock, tomato juice, fresh herbs and spices, is served with pepperoni stuffed olives and pepper jack cheese. If you’re not in the mood for a full cocktail right away, order up a BMB (Bloody Mary Bomb), a ½ portion of Bloody Mary-Tini with a shot of Guinness on the side. Just drop & drink!

Speaking of shots, The Coach House exclusively features a 20-foot diameter “shot clock” above the main bar. Every Friday and Saturday, a pre-selected time during the evening will be designated “shot thirty.” Get ready! When the Coach House shot clock strikes “Shot:30”, a complimentary feature shot will be served to each and every guest! Feature shots for September are Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey (Fridays) and Jameson Irish Whiskey (Saturdays).
